Everything about Judy Nelson totally explained

Judy Hill Nelson is an author best known for her 1983-1991 romance (while married) with and eventual palimony suit against women's tennis star Martina Navratilova. After their break-up, Ms. Nelson authored the books Love Match: Nelson vs. Navratilova, chronicling her relationship with the tennis star, and Choices: My Journey After Leaving my Husband for Martina and a Lesbian Life, chronicling her coming out as a lesbian in the mid-1980s. She is the mother of two sons.
In 1992 Nelson began a relationship with another American lesbian author; Rita Mae Brown of Virginia. Rita Mae had also dated Martina Navratilova back in 1979. Due to their two very different careers and Navratilova's affair with Judy Nelson, the relationship ended in 1981.
Her son, Bales, is an Executive Vice President at Merritt Hawkins and Associates in Irving, TX.
